If you enjoy anything fantastical, and you're over 6, or have a 6+ year old - get this book and read it. Perhaps some 6 year olds are a bit too young for some of this, but my 6 year old is LOVING this bed time reading! These are sure-fire books and the only downside is that the next 3 books aren't written yet! Kimberly Bobrow
One Child
Tiger's Child
Just Another Kid
Somebody Else's Kids
by Torey Hayden
Absolutely gripping books. They are all true stories about a teacher's experiences with her student(s) - highly inspiring and intriguing. Everyone I've loaned these to have had trouble putting them down until they were read all the way through. Kimberly Bobrow
The Wizard of Oz
The (Marvelous) Land of Oz
Dorothy and the Wizard in Oz
The Emerald City of Oz
Glinda of Oz
The Magic of Oz
Ozma of Oz

The Lost Princess of Oz
by L. Frank Baum
If you've never read the original, or if you've only read the original, you've been missing out on some great books. I read these repeatedly as a kid, and again more recently. There are other Oz books that were written after Baum's death - I don't personally like those nearly as much as the original 14. Kimberly Bobrow
Wicked : The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West
by Gregory Maguire
If you have read any/some of the Oz books, this book is just a wonderfully delicious adult book. It explains from the time of her birth how the Wicked Witch actually came to be wicked, and how she eventually met her demise by Dorothy and a bucket of water. A lot of adult humor and satire. The Amazon site has multiple reviews by readers of this book. Kimberly Bobrow
Prenatal Yoga and Natural Birth
by Jeannine Parvati Baker's
I haven't actually read it, but am thinking about it on the strong recommendation of friends Kimberly Bobrow
Taking Charge of Your Fertility
by Toni Weschler
This book is a must for every woman. It tells so much about what is going on inside your body all throughout your monthly cycle. Equally useful for attempting pregnancy, or preventing it. Kimberly Bobrow
What's Happening To Me?
by by Peter Mayle, Arthur Robins (Illustrator), Paul Walter (Illustrator)
A classic about puberty - for kids going through it. Kimberly Bobrow
