Putting it together
I hung the material for the border on the wall, and blocked out squares. 
| I decided to use black for the sashings. Here's the top row pieced. 
| Second row is pieced, and I have strips of black under the top two rows to see how it'll look. I like it!

All the blocks pieced, hung against the backing on the wall. 
| Starting to piece on the borders - here are the side ones. 
| And the top ones - the quilt top is pieced!
